Your first visit, in order
About 75 minutes from check-in to checkout.

Step 1: Before you arrive
We text or call to confirm. Eat something light, and have your clinic's dates and your list of medicines ready.

Step 2: Check-in
The front desk is on the second floor, past the elevator. Come a few minutes early to fill in a short form.

Step 3: We talk
About 25 minutes. Your acupuncturist asks about your clinic, your calendar, what you take and how you sleep, and looks at your tongue and pulse.

Step 4: The needles
About 30 minutes, resting. Your acupuncturist explains the risks and each point before any needle goes in.

Step 5: A rest and a plan
A few minutes to sit up slowly, then a plan for the next visits around your clinic's dates.

Step 6: After
You may feel relaxed, sleepy or lightly sore. Call us if anything worries you, and call your clinic for anything it has asked you to report.

Loose clothing
Sleeves and pant legs that roll up past the elbow and knee.
Questions
Write them down. We would rather answer them than have you carry them out.
Return visits
A return visit is about 45 minutes. You usually go straight to the table after a short check-in, and you leave with the next visit booked.
